The Isles of Scilly

The Isles of Scilly – this is a lovely beach side village where you will be able to wind down and relax. Make sure to take along your binoculars and camera to snap pictures and catch a glimpse of the local wildlife.

Canterbury Cathedral

Canterbury-Canterbury is a lovely historic place to take a trip to. There are lots of things both indoors and out. You can go and view the historical sites, or you can go shipping in the city! There are heaps of local parks, and the area is renowned for having multiple biking areas that have tracks to take you all the way though the city.

Herne Bay and Whitstable

If you like the idea of going to spend a day taking part in sports on the bay, then make sure to visit Herne Bay and Whitstable. You will be able to play a lovely game of golf too in their famous gold courses. There is lovely scenery, and a boat ride to go on through the Westgate Grove.

Stratford Upon Avon

Stratford-upon-Avon in Warwickshire is a treasure. The very birthplace of the English language was in this magnificent place. The Shakespeare Company still operates from the area and there are many shows and things to see and do. Beware though; the area can get very busy so make sure to try your best to go in the off-peak months!


Brighton is a great place- many would say that this is alone the best place to visit in the UK. I guess it is all down to personal preference. There is a lovely pavilion, and the place has been home to over three monarchs in years gone by. Each monarch left their own stamp of royalty there!
